Frequently Asked Questions

Everything parents ask about tracking reading, setting goals, and using Pagine with more than one parent or child.

What is Pagine?

Pagine is a free reading tracker app for parents. It helps kids build a daily reading habit by logging reading and listening sessions, tracking pages and minutes, setting reading goals, and turning progress into streaks, levels, and completed books.

How do I track my child's reading with Pagine?

Add a child profile with their name, birthdate, reading level, and grade. Then log each session — either live with the built-in reading timer, or afterward by entering the book, duration, and pages read. Pagine keeps a running history of sessions, reading time, and pages for each child.

Can Pagine track audiobooks, not just physical books?

Yes. When logging a session, choose the Listening tab instead of Reading. Pagine tracks audiobook time the same way it tracks reading time, counting toward the same stats, goals, and streaks.

How do I set a reading goal for my child?

Open your child's profile and tap Set Goal. Choose what to track — books finished, minutes read, pages logged, or sessions logged — pick a time period (weekly, monthly, semester, yearly, or a custom range), and enter a target number. Pagine shows live progress toward that goal.

Can two parents track the same child's reading?

Yes. From a child's profile, tap Invite Co-Parent and share a one-time code or send an email invite. The other parent enters the code to join that child's profile and see the same reading history, stats, and goals.

How do I add a book to my child's library?

Search by title, author, or ISBN, or scan the book's barcode with your phone camera. Pagine looks up the book's cover, author, and page count automatically and adds it to your child's library.

What ages or grade levels does Pagine support?

Pagine supports children from Pre-K through 12th grade and beyond, with reading levels from pre-reader through fluent reader, so you can track progress as your child grows as a reader.

What do streaks, levels, and points mean in Pagine?

Every logged session counts toward your child's reading streak (consecutive days read) and adds points that increase their level. It's a simple way to gamify reading and keep kids motivated day to day.

Can I share my child's reading progress with a teacher or grandparent?

Yes. From a child's profile, tap Email Progress to send a ready-made summary of sessions, reading time, pages, and books completed, or tap Share Progress to share it another way.

Is Pagine available on both iPhone and Android?

Yes. Pagine has native apps for iOS on the App Store and Android on Google Play, plus a web app you can use from a browser.

Can I delete my account or my child's data?

Yes. From Account settings you can deactivate your account, which pauses it while preserving data, or permanently delete your account and its data.

Is Pagine free?

Yes, Pagine is free to download and use on iOS, Android, and the web.
