A simple GMAT study plan
- Weeks 1–2
Take a diagnostic test. Review number properties, percents, ratios and algebra. Learn the Data Sufficiency answer choices by heart.
- Weeks 3–4
Critical Reasoning daily: identify conclusion, evidence, assumption. Table and graph practice for Data Insights.
- Weeks 5–6
Timed mixed sets. Error log for every miss. Practise choosing your section order.
- Weeks 7–8
Two full practice exams. Fine-tune timing: about 2 minutes per question.
Take Practice Test 1 at the start to find your baseline, one in the middle, and the rest in the final weeks.

How many free GMAT practice tests are there?

How long is the GMAT?
The GMAT Exam takes 2 hours and 15 minutes, with three 45-minute sections and an optional 10-minute break.
What is the GMAT score range?
Total scores run from 205 to 805. Each of the three sections is scored from 60 to 90.
Should I take the GMAT or the GRE for business school?
Most business schools accept both. Take a practice test of each and choose the one that suits your strengths, then check your target schools’ policies.
How is the practice test scored?
You get a raw score by section and by skill, with an explanation for every question. Official scaled scores come only from the test maker.
