Zara's family got a new puppy named Biscuit.

At bedtime, Biscuit cried and cried.

"He misses his mom," said Dad.

Zara had an idea. She wrapped a ticking clock in a warm blanket.

The ticking sounded like a heartbeat. Biscuit snuggled in.

Soon the whole house was quiet, and everyone slept.
