The Gift Nobody Could Wrap

Two days before Christmas, Noah counted his money. He had only three coins — not enough to buy his little sister, Ruby, a present.

He sat by the window and watched the snow fall. Then he had an idea. Ruby always asked him to read her the same picture book, but he usually said he was too busy.

Noah found some paper and made a card. On the front he drew a book and a star. Inside he wrote: “This card is good for one story every night, all winter long.”

On Christmas morning, Ruby opened the card and squealed. That night she brought him her favourite book, and the next night, and the next. It was the best present Noah had ever given.

A Pagine Original story.
