How it begins
Band chumolilar Muallif: Kanchan Bannerjee Musavvir: Deepa Balsavar Salom, men navbatdagi to'rtinchi chumoliman. Meni ko'ryabsanmi? Chapga, o'ngga, chapga, o'ngga. Biz bir qatorda jimgina yuramiz. Menga bir g'oya keldi. Tezroq yurish uchun G'ILDIRAKLAR to'plamidan foydalanaylik! Biz boshqa hayvonlar kabi sershovqin emasmiz.…Opening lines quoted from the openly licensed book (CC BY 4.0).
Reading together in Uzbek
- Read it aloud first, pointing at the pictures; then let your child “read” the pictures back to you.
- Ask open questions: what happened, how did the character feel, what would you do?
- Growing up with two languages? Talk about the story in whichever language feels easiest — the understanding carries over.
